CEIFA compassionate ministry in ASIA

CEIFA compassionate ministry in 2011, assisted in the launching of the Promise Children’s home. It has been a miracle story from the beginning.  Fourteen kids from the streets of Nepal and the poorest situation on Earth life’s been transformed in becoming part of loving family, excelling in education and finding their spiritual roots.

CEIFA in East Africa

CEIFA supporting DBJ in East Africa

CEIFA ministry has been involved in laying the ground work for DBJ east Africa since 2022. Having held conferences for the youth, the movement has seen many become disciples and now disciple makers who are now actively making disciples across the region.

In Kenya, CEIFA went further and took the DBJ teaching too schools and since then the movement has been actively spreading in schools and among youth groups across the country with the disciple makers having gained training during the CEIFA DBJ conference.

In Tanzania, Fred and Josh, both Kenyan missionaries, also trained at the CEIFA DBJ conference are now serving in the region, in a village called chagana among the marginalized Taturu tribe, starting schools, planting churches, offering DBJ classes and making disciples among the Taturu youth all with the aim of spreading the love of Jesus to those that don’t know Him.

CEIFA supporting a School in East Africa

CEIFA ministry has been supporting Chagana school in Tanzania since its launch in 2023. The school offers free basic elementary education with DBJ as part of the curriculum among the needy, marginalized Taruru tribe who are mainly pastrolists in West Tanzania. Josh, a Kenyan missionary and a disciple maker, volunteered to start and teach the school and 2 years down the line, has witnessed Jesus activity at the the school, now having over 50 students. Among them are youths who he teaches how to read, write and Discipled By Jesus.

We are grateful to Jesus for seeing us through the many challenges and are believing in greater things ahead. With the school offering free education, we have several challenges especially in supporting the growing number of students, many of which come from very needy families and can’t afford the basics. Among our pressing needs are school stationery; books and writing materials.

In addition, we are believing for a feeding program (porridge for the children) to cater for them during the day, many walk from far to attend classes (a mile or 2 away) and have to spend the entire day at school hungry, they can’t concentrate. .

CEIFA supporting church planting in East Africa

CEIFA has laid some ground work in Tanzania, East Africa where after visiting Chagana village in 2022, saw the need and helped plant the first church in the region in 2023, the chagana church has grown ever since with many disciples becoming disciple makers in the village. The church is led by missionary Fred, an alumni of the first in Africa DBJ conference by CEIFA ministry in Nairobi, Kenya.

Missionary Fred has been planting many other churches in the region and has made disciples and disciple makers that are now making new disciples. We give Jesus all the glory and thanks to CEIFA for starting a fire here in Africa and supporting it.

First of all we want to thank our Almighty God for connecting us with all of you and also a special thanks  to all the members of CEIFA international for supporting us financially and also always in your prayers. 2 Thessalonians 3:5. May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ. Amen

In Sindhuli we have a small church with almost 35 members. Sindhuli is beautiful place sorrounded with a lots of hilly mountains. Many of the believers houses are up in the mountain but the church is down in the valley and we have to walk almost 1 and half hour every day to reach our church.

The name of our church is “Christiya Baptist Church, Sindhuli” and we have just recently started the church and so we don’t have a Pastor over there. We have taken a land on rent for 5 years and constructed  a small church to have fellowship over there. 3 years has already passed away and now we have only 2 years left so we are praying and planning to buy a land for our church but we don’t have enough budget. So kindly pray for our church.

Most recently we use to go for outreach, we share the gospel with many but only a few number of people accepted Christ as their personal saviour. Almost every evening we used to visit the houses of those people who have accepted Christ and we encourage them with the Word of God, teach them how to pray, how to read the bible, etc., and also some of our believers are old and don’t have enough money to go for check-up so sometimes we help them by doing therapy (physiotherapy) freely. Not only this we go for outreach and whenever we get the privilege, we do therapy and over time we also share with them about our faith.

But sometimes as we don’t have our own transportation, we find it difficult to visit many places as not everywhere we can find a taxi.

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

This is in Dharan, Khaireni Baptist Church. Here during the great festival of the Hindus i.e., Durga Puja and Diwali the schools are closed for almost 3 weeks and during that time my friends and I organized a 2-day Children Camp where around 90-100 childrens attended and almost 30% were non-Christians. It was a blessed children’s camp as many of the little children knew more about Christ’s love for them.

In Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Sometimes we even give free tutoring to the little children so that we can make a closer relationship with them and their parents and guardians. After making them friends we slowly share the gospel with them and also invite them to our church, and pray for them. As the major population of Nepal is Hindu, we cannot freely share the gospel, it is against the law so this is one of our ways of sharing the gospel.

In Nepal, there are so many remote villages where the gospel has not yet reached. So whenever we get the opportunity we visit those places and in some places there are some people who have accepted Christ but as there is no church around them so sometimes we visit them and together we praise God and also encourage them with the Word of God. Mostly we visit Dhankuta, Hile Kharka, and also Chetpa which is near Sindhuli.

This is Christiya Baptist Church, Sindhuli. During this Christmas Eve we are planning to organize an outdoor preaching and most probably we will be going door to door caroling and sharing about our Lord Jesus Christ. Kindly pray for all the Christians in Nepal as whenever something happens in Nepal, mostly people blame Christians, within these years many incidents took place in Nepal and all the blame came to the Christian Community.
