CEIFA’s Journey in Nepal
Compassion, Discipleship and Church Planting in Nepal.
CEIFA International’s involvement in Nepal began in 2011, with the support of CEIFA’s president, and over the years, the cooperation from local missionaries, it has been growing out of a heart to serve vulnerable communities and demonstrate the love of Jesus through practical compassion, evangelism and discipleship.

Over the years, God has opened doors for meaningful partnerships, missionary work and community initiatives that have touched lives across the country. Through dedicated national missionaries, local church leaders and faithful partners, CEIFA has invested in reaching the least, the last and the lost with the genuine compassion of Christ.
What began as a commitment to serve has grown into a diverse ministry involving children’s care, discipleship training, medical outreach, church planting, evangelism, leadership development and community transformation.
Today, the work continues through local representatives and missionaries who faithfully serve communities, strengthen believers and carry the Gospel into places where the need remains great.
Mission Leadership and Frontline Ministry
For more than 12 years, Missionary Dinesh KC has served as the director of CEIFA Missions in Nepal. Through his leadership, dedication and passion for reaching vulnerable communities, numerous ministry initiatives have been established and supported.

During his four visits to the United States, many CEIFA partners have had the opportunity to meet Dinesh personally, becoming prayer partners, supporters and lifelong friends.
Dinesh has faithfully directed much of the support received toward mission projects that reach vulnerable communities and advance the Gospel throughout Nepal.
Working alongside local representatives and missionaries, CEIFA continues to invest in both practical compassion and spiritual transformation.
Among those serving on the frontlines are Daud and Livi, CEIFA missionaries committed to church planting and evangelism. Their ministry focuses on sharing the Gospel, reaching communities with the message of Jesus Christ, building relationships and establishing new fellowships where believers can gather, worship and grow in faith.

Through the work of these missionaries and local ministry leaders, CEIFA seeks to build more than churches as buildings. The vision is to establish communities of believers who are discipled, equipped and committed to sharing Christ with others.
Our Work and Impact in Nepal
Over the years, CEIFA’s involvement in Nepal has extended into several areas of ministry:
1. Compassionate Ministry — Promise Children’s Home
One of the remarkable stories of CEIFA’s involvement in Nepal is the launching of Promise Children’s Home.
Fourteen children who once lived on the streets of Nepal, coming from some of the poorest and most challenging circumstances, have found a place to call home.
What began as a response to a great need has become a loving family where children are cared for, nurtured and given opportunities to thrive.

Today, these children are receiving an education, excelling in their studies, discovering their God-given potential and establishing strong spiritual roots.
Beyond providing shelter and basic needs, Promise Children’s Home offers something even more precious: belonging, love, dignity and hope for the future.
This ministry remains a testimony of God’s faithfulness and provision — a miracle story unfolding through love, sacrifice and compassion.
2. Discipleship and Leadership Development
CEIFA has supported YWAM discipleship schools annually, helping equip hundreds of believers to become disciples who make disciples.
These training opportunities strengthen Christian foundations, develop spiritual leadership and prepare believers to serve their communities and share the Gospel.

CEIFA has also supported the printing and distribution of evangelistic and discipleship materials, making biblical resources available to churches, ministry leaders and individuals.
3. Church Planting and Evangelism
Reaching communities with the Gospel and establishing local fellowships have remained important parts of CEIFA’s mission in Nepal.
Through supporting church planters and frontline missionaries, CEIFA has helped extend Christian ministry into communities where believers need encouragement, discipleship and a place to worship.
The work of Daud and Livi, together with other local representatives, reflects this continuing commitment to evangelism and church planting.

4. Medical Outreach and Community Care
CEIFA has supported medical outreach camps in remote and rural villages, reaching communities where access to healthcare is often limited. These initiatives provide practical assistance while creating opportunities to demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus through service. Both by partnering with local medical professionals and by bringing in medical professionals from the USA, Ceifa has conducted many medical camps in areas where there is either a lack of medical care available or to help those who cannot afford the medical care that is available.
Sometimes even simple acts such as bringing in toothbrushes and vitamins for children or pain killers for the elderly can be a huge open door into a community. For others, follow up after one of these medical camps can be life changing, like it was in pastor Peter’s life. Pastor Peter came to be seen by the doctors at the very end of one such medical camps, after all the patients in his village had been seen.
A few years before, he had something stuck in his teeth and used a needle to try and take it out. The area was not treated properly, so it became infected. Over the course of a few years, this caused a huge tumor to grow on the side of his face. This humble man was the first man to come to Christ in his village of a hundred households and has led many to the Lord.
Living in a small thatch roofed hut himself, he had been unable to afford to have this tumor taken care of. After discussing the severity of his case, the medical professionals from the US decided that they would raise the funds necessary for him to have surgery as soon as possible.
A few weeks after the doctors went back to the US, Peter underwent major surgery that took 4 surgeons to complete. This man, who is vital to the spread of the Gospel in his area, is now recovering and doing well.
This is the story of just one among many whose life has been touched through one of Ceifa’s medical camps.
5. Youth Ministry and Education
Investing in the next generation has also been an important part of CEIFA’s work.
Through nationwide youth conferences, young people have been encouraged and equipped in their Christian faith.
In addition, CEIFA has supported children in underserved and slum communities through school uniforms and educational supplies, helping create opportunities for learning and a better future.
These initiatives represent just some of the ways God has used CEIFA’s ministry and partnerships to bring hope and strengthen communities throughout Nepal.
Strengthening the Local Church: Christiya Baptist Church, Sindhuli
One of the ongoing stories of ministry in Nepal is Christiya Baptist Church in Sindhuli, a small but growing fellowship of approximately 35 believers.
Sindhuli is a beautiful region surrounded by hills and mountains. Many of the believers live high up in the mountains, while the church is situated down in the valley. Some members walk approximately one and a half hours to reach the church for fellowship.

Despite the distance and challenges, these believers remain committed to gathering, worshipping and growing together in faith.
The church was recently established, and currently, the fellowship does not have a resident pastor. To provide a place for believers to gather, the ministry rented a piece of land for five years and constructed a small church building.
Three years of the rental agreement have already passed, leaving only two years remaining.
The vision now is to purchase land and establish a permanent place of worship for the congregation. However, the church does not yet have sufficient financial resources to make this possible.
A Prayer Request
We invite our partners and friends to stand with the believers in Sindhuli in prayer:
- Pray for a pastor who can shepherd, disciple and strengthen the congregation.
- Pray for the spiritual growth and unity of the approximately 35 believers.
- Pray for provision to purchase land and establish a permanent church.
- Pray that the Gospel will continue reaching families and communities in the surrounding mountains.
A permanent church would provide a place of worship, fellowship, discipleship and a lasting Christian witness in the community.
The Journey Continues
From the children finding a home at Promise Children’s Home to disciples being equipped for ministry, from medical outreach in remote villages to missionaries planting churches and sharing the Gospel, CEIFA’s journey in Nepal is a testimony of what God can accomplish through faithful service and partnership.
Every project represents more than an activity. It represents people, relationships, transformed lives and opportunities to make Jesus known.
Yet the work is not finished. There are still vulnerable children who need care, communities waiting to hear the Gospel, disciples who need equipping and churches that need strengthening.
We believe the next chapter of this journey will bring even more opportunities to serve, reach and transform lives through the love of Christ.
