Discipled by Jesus training in East Africa
CEIFA ministry has been involved in laying the ground work for Discipled By Jesus, East Africa since 2022. Having held several DBJ training conferences for the youth, the movement has seen many become disciples and disciple makers who are now actively making disciples across the region.

In Kenya, CEIFA went further and took the DBJ teaching to schools and since then the movement has been actively spreading in schools and among youth groups across the country with the disciple makers having gained training during the CEIFA DBJ conference.

In Tanzania, Fred and Josh, both Kenyan missionaries, who are graduates of the DBJ training conferences are now serving in East Africa region, Tanzania, in a village called chagana, among the marginalized Taturu tribe. The have started a school, planted churches and currently offering DBJ classes across the villages, making disciples, all with the aim of spreading the love of Jesus to the many that don’t know Him.

CEIFA supporting a School in East Africa-“chagana christian school”
CEIFA ministry helped start and has been supporting a school in Tanzania “chagana christian school” since its launch in 2023. The school offers free basic elementary education with Discipled By Jesus teachings as part of the curriculum among the needy, marginalized Taruru children and youth. The Taturu community and tribe are mainly pastrolists in West Tanzania.

Josh, a Kenyan missionary and a disciple maker, volunteered to start and teach the school and 2 years down the line, has witnessed Jesus activity, having started with less than 10 pupils. We are grateful to Jesus for seeing us through the many challenges and are believing in greater things ahead.

Currently, over 40 students attend classes daily, among them being teenage youth, who never had the chance to attend school, but now want to learn and better their lives, Josh teaches them how to read and write and most importantly how to be Discipled By Jesus.

With the school offering free education to all, we have several needs and challenges, especially in supporting the growing number of students, many of which come from very needy families and can’t afford the basics. Among our pressing needs are school stationery; books, writing materials and uniforms which includes shoes.

In addition, we are believing for a feeding program (porridge for the children) to cater for them during the day, since many walk from far to attend classes (a mile or 2 away) and have to spend the entire day at school hungry, they can’t concentrate. This provision will go a long way!
CEIFA supporting church planting in East Africa-“chagana church in Tanzania”
Chagana village in Tanzania, East Africa is a village that has been greatly marginalized and CEIFA ministry through pastor Dave, after visiting in 2022, saw the need and has helped la the ground by planting the first church in the region, the chagana church which has grown ever since with many knowing Jesus and becoming new disciples and disciple makers in the village. The church is led by missionary Fred, an alumni of the first African Discipled By Jesus conference which CEIFA ministry in partnership with Becomingloveministry, offered training in Nairobi, Kenya.

Missionary Fred has been planting many more churches in the region and has made disciples and disciple makers that are now making new disciples. We give Jesus all the glory and thanks to CEIFA for starting a fire here in Africa and supporting it.
CEIFA Water well project in Tanzania

CEIFA ministry, in 2023 was involved in launching a clean water project in East Africa, Tanzania where it saw the rehabilitation of several broken water wells and digging of new wells that have now been serving villages that lacked clean water for many years.
The project has been very helpful to locals and with it, they have also become receptive to the gospel, mainly discipled by Jesus message which is now widely spread with many new disciples and disciple makers spreading all over the villages of Tanzania.
In Chagana village, Tabora region, west Tanzania, CEIFA ministry in partnership with Becomingloveministry were involved in the digging of two water wells that now provide clean drinking water, saving many villages who were desperate for many years without clean drinking water.

The project is still on going and you too can support rehabilitate a well or even dig a new one and save a village, especially children and women from drinking dirty water that has continually resulted to many water borne diseases. Feel free to contact us and even partner with us to better and grow the projects. “Little is more when God is in it”
