CEIFA missionaries; Daud and Livi

Jaimashi(Greeting you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ).

First of all we want to thank our Almighty God for connecting us with all of you and also a special thanks  to all the members of CEIFA international for supporting us financially and also always in your prayers. 2 Thessalonians 3:5. May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ. Amen

In Sindhuli we have a small church with almost 35 members. Sindhuli is beautiful place sorrounded with a lots of hilly mountains. Many of the believers houses are up in the mountain but the church is down in the valley and we have to walk almost 1 and half hour every day to reach our church.

The name of our church is “Christiya Baptist Church, Sindhuli” and we have just recently started the church and so we don’t have a Pastor over there. We have taken a land on rent for 5 years and constructed  a small church to have fellowship over there. 3 years has already passed away and now we have only 2 years left so we are praying and planning to buy a land for our church but we don’t have enough budget. So kindly pray for our church.

Most recently we use to go for outreach, we share the gospel with many but only a few number of people accepted Christ as their personal saviour. Almost every evening we used to visit the houses of those people who have accepted Christ and we encourage them with the Word of God, teach them how to pray, how to read the bible, etc., and also some of our believers are old and don’t have enough money to go for check-up so sometimes we help them by doing therapy (physiotherapy) freely. Not only this we go for outreach and whenever we get the privilege, we do therapy and over time we also share with them about our faith.

But sometimes as we don’t have our own transportation, we find it difficult to visit many places as not everywhere we can find a taxi.

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

This is in Dharan, Khaireni Baptist Church. Here during the great festival of the Hindus i.e., Durga Puja and Diwali the schools are closed for almost 3 weeks and during that time my friends and I organized a 2-day Children Camp where around 90-100 childrens attended and almost 30% were non-Christians. It was a blessed children’s camp as many of the little children knew more about Christ’s love for them.

In Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Sometimes we even give free tutoring to the little children so that we can make a closer relationship with them and their parents and guardians. After making them friends we slowly share the gospel with them and also invite them to our church, and pray for them. As the major population of Nepal is Hindu, we cannot freely share the gospel, it is against the law so this is one of our ways of sharing the gospel.

In Nepal, there are so many remote villages where the gospel has not yet reached. So whenever we get the opportunity we visit those places and in some places there are some people who have accepted Christ but as there is no church around them so sometimes we visit them and together we praise God and also encourage them with the Word of God. Mostly we visit Dhankuta, Hile Kharka, and also Chetpa which is near Sindhuli.

This is Christiya Baptist Church, Sindhuli. During this Christmas Eve we are planning to organize an outdoor preaching and most probably we will be going door to door caroling and sharing about our Lord Jesus Christ. Kindly pray for all the Christians in Nepal as whenever something happens in Nepal, mostly people blame Christians, within these years many incidents took place in Nepal and all the blame came to the Christian Community.

    Missionary Virendra’s Update

    Praise and Thanksgiving

    1. Church Planting -CP is my passion and God has really blessed us this year. At the moment we have 6 house fellowships and 2 were started this year.
    1. Children’s ministry- We have around 50-60 children attending our newly started program every week. Through this ministry 3 families have started believing and attending our fellowships. We also feed them food once a month during one of our program.
    1. Widow ministry- We take care of widows who have been abandoned by their familiies. Some of these widows have started believing and now come to our fellowships. We distribute food ration to 5 widows once every month.
    1. Medical ministry- Every week we organise medical clinic in different neighbourhoods in and around our city and provide basic health care and medicines to the poor and needy. Through this medical clinic we have seen open doors and favour in the community.
    1. Training- From time to time we also do discipleship trainings and provide coaching to our believers so that they can grow stronger in the Lord and make more disciples of Jesus.  We currently use DMM ( Disciple making movement) and DBJ ( Discipled by Jesus) methods to train our believers.

    Prayer Points-

    1. Pray that God will use me and my family for His glory
    2. Pray for the well being of my family
    3. Pray for our ministry. Every year we distribute warm blankets to the needy and the beggars, and this year too that God will provide all the finances we need to buy the blankets.
    4. Please pray for our kids, Aryan and Vaibhav for their school admission fees. Currently we need around 70 thousand Indian rupees. This is a big amount for us  but we believe that God will provide all our needs for our ministry and for our family through your prayers and support.

Pakistan mission highlights and prayer needs

Just the beginning. Sarfraz and I have the next two families in greatest need. We had an incredible strategic meeting this morning to fine tune process, funding, accountability and follow up plans. Have not had this much fire since launching Nepal with Amho and Dinesh. All years of training and preparation for a freedom discipleship movement across South Asia and spilling out to Middle East Arabic and islam|c nations.

      1. Sarfraz wants us to rescue a family with a beautiful young teenage girl that is being trafficked all the time. Her family is afraid of forced marriage to an older Muslim man … produce children for that man and be discarded. (#3 family brick slave family)

      2. The next will be the family that I met and mentioned on Ty’s post. Father has lost an arm. Young children and mom forced to meet his quota of 1000 bricks per day, 5/6 days a week. This is a true turning point for out ministry in Pakistan … with simple DBJ training freedom in Christ as well as freedom from actually slavery is coming to historical Christian slavery… in the very region Christianity first came to Pakistan. Unbelievable what we have seen God do in one week. Hundreds of families will be delivered in near future. Unspeakable joy. Amy our entire family may be calked to this new direction.

      Some new directions:

      A. As we post Sarfraz ask that we blot out faces. We will keep exact locations under wraps, lest the sex traffickers come after the young ones.

      2. Begin praying even not for an additional $800 per family that will purchase the family the trishaw … will provide both family transportation and the best income we could set them up in with their skill set.

      3. Pray for Ed and Cass. I have ask them to head up fund raising for building the seven houses at the burned out Christian villages yet to be constructed… families still living in tents. These newer converts have been evangelised and even now being Discipled DBJ ministry. Cass and I spent three day training their village leader. The cost for each house is $1200 and are beautiful in their own way, practical and built for desert living. A 200 sq ft mansion compared to the family of eight children living in a make shift tent the size of a queen bed for your comparison. I can see this develop into a Runyan legacy ministry. I can picture Jon, Tyler, Amber and Paul getting invoked at some level. Sarfraz is also looking to establish a safe house for those young rescued from the sex trafficking especially. This could be built next to the orphanage Sarfraz/ Gawahi (English ‘Witness’ Ministry) that is 15 kilometres from town and has walls with razor wire, security cameras and locked gates for security. Solar electricity as well as diesel generator… all for safety for the 48 children now there full time with house parents. They are bused to Christian school like in Nepal. Sarfraz ministry has been given three acres for this emerging ministry center. One acre reserved for self sustaining garden, goats and chickens. I was absolutely blown away by this faculty. He has lost his main donor on this project … but still faithing it through every month. If the kids are fed more than once a day, clothing, medical and school cost the entire project runs for $2200 per month. Right at $50 per child per month. Amazing. By building his own beautiful facility from scratch there are no rent payments. If you were to ask Sarfraz why he has built it so secure and beautiful… he said “ what if my girls were here”…. As he has come close to death a few times. His girls were almost kidnapped by r@dIcal Mu$lim$ three years ago when they came to America running in the middle of the night . This touched my ❤️ very deeply thinking about my own girls.

I will begin posting all segments of this mission trip soon. The reason Sarfraz felt specifically called to this project was when his friends church in a rad area was blown up on Easter Sunday 2018 and many children left as true orphans. Those were the first ones taken in as he opened the facility full time about a year ago.

CEIFA HAS PROVIDED TWO MONTHS OF SUPPORT IN THIS LAST YEAR. After visiting this trip I wish we could do more. This may be why God is calling me to podcast, website and YouTube channel development. A vision I have never had before … old dog learning new ways. I believe my children’s generation is called to finally be the church without excuses in these area of hunger, suffering and yet miraculously opened doors.

      To support the mission;

Set slaves families in Pakistan free

Incredible care in Pakistan in every way possible.

No words can adequately express how these two week have impacted our ministry.

I believe (almost prophecy level) that with in two weeks we will be used of God to set two slave families free (some of them in literal chains)… purchasing their freedom and helping them relocate to new area, new life, new home and set up in small street business to support their families … needed $2000 to accomplish this .

And the seven families still living in tents with their children, in the persecuted and burned out village I have told you about will have new homes ($1200) each to build. Our ministry partners have already rebuilt 5 with 7 to go.

      Glory to God.
